34 minutes on a 20 minute game is one playthrough and a bit of a look around. 9.5 hours on the sequel is a completely different relationship.

Got about an hour into it. The errand list thing is real: cash a cheque, buy milk, return a book. I expected that to be a joke and it just is the game.
Have not gone back to it since. Not sure yet whether that is the game or me.

Second most played thing I own and the main quest is a complete blur. What I remember is walking somewhere, getting distracted, and picking up far too much junk on the way.
The wandering is the good part. Everything with a marker on it is the part I tolerate.

Thirty two hours on the counter and not one of them is on this machine any more. The save went with an old install and I did not think about it once until I went looking for it.

A few hours in. Levels are twenty seconds and I have died a lot, but the restart is fast enough that it never turns into being annoyed. You are moving again before you have registered that you died.
Put one loading screen in there and the whole thing falls apart.
